Uniden/GRE scanners for sale at retail locations in the Chicagoland area ???

Any suggestions ? Thank you in advance for any tips. I remember Kmart had Uniden/ Bearcat years ago.
I am researching this for a friend who does not have internet access.

I recently went to Fry's electronics in Downers Grove and they had some scanners there, but they were way overpriced and I would not but one there for that reason; but if you want to go look at one before you buy it thats where you want to go.

AES in Milwaukee is probably the only place with a selection of scanners other than Radio Shack.

Remember that the RadioShack scanners are mostly clones of GRE's.
