What does the uniden hp-1 alert on ?

So far today received:
severe thunderstorm watch
severe thunderstorm warning

now also receiving flash flood warning

Do you have it in WX alert standby mode?

Are you on the correct freq.?

Do you have it set for an incorrect county?

That's about all....

My guess is you have it scanning.

All received today.

It alerts on every warning the NOAA Weather Radio alerts on.

Ignore that answer (nothing against DDan) because most of those "alert types" are figments of the web developer's imagination. There is no such thing as a "Food Contamination" warning, nor is anything close to it broadcast on NWR.
