I've been trying to register my scanners on Uniden's product registration page. A few days ago, I couldn't even load the page. Now I can load the page enter my information to create a new account, but I'm not receiving any emails with my temporary password. I have checked the email address that I entered, refreshed my email and checked the spam folder. I've even tried creating another ID with a different email address. Is Uniden having problems on their end with the site?

Yes, according to Uniden's home page, they are involved in a move of their headquaters:

Dear Valued Customers,

We are currently in the process of moving our corporate office and warehouse.

A number of their systems have been off line in recent days but probably not all have been restored yet.

And make sure your trying to correct page. Seems they have 2 sites that let you register but only one will do the scanner. If no one posts it, I will when I get home

That is the site that I've been trying for days to register on now. Can receive my temporary password via email. I've checked my spam folder and even tried different email addresses.

Update: IT says it's back up and should be working, but it is possible something happened since it was moved.

They are looking into it.

Bit off topics.

I was able to register bc125AT, sds100, BCD436HP,

But neither two of my BCT15Xs can register successfully. The <ESN,checksum> tuple copied from display shown from scanner's settings->scan info->firmware version (which display ESN/checksum in addition to firmware version) never makes the website happy.

my.uniden.com site is working now just logged in and looked at my list of scanners.
I just received the confirmation email from Uniden on the my.uniden.com account I created several days ago. I reckon this may have something to do with the corporate facilities move they had taking place recently.

I received two email today from uniden.com.. They are: “successfully purchased access to generate a key for your scanner.” In one email and “You have successfully generated a key for your scanner.” I have had my SDS100 for about five years and haven’t purchased anything or registered anything since. I then went on the Myuniden site and logged in. My scanner and my upgrade that I registered five years ago do not appear.
Based on the previous posts this could be due to their site issues. My question to the group is do you think the system just needs time to catch up to itself or do I need to go and register everything again.
Thanks for your help.

Give it a day or two. I created an my.uniden account and it took several days for the activation email to finally come through.

Also, since phishing is so pervasive, any time you get an email like that enter Uniden's web site address in your browser's address bar yourself. Otherwise, clicking the hypertext link that's in the email is a very common method of duping users into falsely entering the information into an unofficial website.

It was a DNS issue according to IT.
