Hey all! Still fairly new here. Was curious if anyone knows the replacement model for the Uniden SC230?

Thanks!

The BC-125AT however it does not cover 800-956.800 Mhz. nor 1240-1300 Mhz. like the 230 did.

The BC346XT covers the same frequencies with the addition of trunk tracking.

Thanks for the reply W8RMH! I appreciate it. I'm a little bummed that the BC346XT doesn't come with the standard BNC connection for the antenna like the BC-125AT does, instead it's the screw on connection. Oh well. I'm sure there is a method to Uniden's madness. I see it comes with the adapter, so that's nice. :)

You mean you have used the adapter to keep the antenna on? Or only when you use an antenna with a BNC connection?

I have never used the stock SMA antenna. I have always used a BNC 800 antenna or connected to coax on a mobile antenna.

Ah, ok. I get what you are saying. Thanks for the input.

Now that I've learned a little bit about trunking, I want to upgrade my SC230 to the BC346XT.

My town doesn't use trunking, but some systems in the area would be nice to listen to.
