Uniden Scanner, Multi Net

How hard would it be for Uniden to add Multi Net tracking? to a scanner? then that way I could track the WDOT system Is possible from them to do a flash upgrade?

I really don't think you'll see multi-net any time soon.

I don't think it's about being "hard" but about Uniden willing to pay for licensing the technology to implement it in their scanners while at the same time, being able to make at least some profit out of it.

Both of those are kind of doubtful at this time.....

Not sure what the difference is between multinet and passport, but I think passport has an option for security that you must have the security number to listen to it even if you had a passport radio. This would add to the list of reasons why you probably won't see it soon.
