Greetings Everyone,

Question: about the NEW scanner that is coming out soon. Is it required to have a paid subscription to listen what you have programed in the scanner. Or you treat it like any other scanner,

I Hope it doesn't require no paid subscription. My BCD436hp requires no subscription. You program what you want in the scanner and you're good to go.

What I've been ready about this new scanner SDS100, You program what you want in it and your off....I hope that's the case here.

The nationwide Sentinel database updated weekly is included for free. It uses the same Sentinel as the 436.

No, you do not need a paid subscription. The only extra you need to pay for is any upgrades for provoice dmr or NXDN.

Yes, it works much like the BCD436HP. It requires no subscription. Hope that helps.
