I recently purchased an aftermarket antenna here in Australia after waiting months to make the move, I'm just curious though, Is there a "Prime" Squelch compared to the stock standard antenna?
I don't seem to be picking up very much if at all with this new antenna on my USDS100, Just curious if there's been any other instances where this has happened and if there's an easy fix?
I'm assuming it's maybe my location of where it is and maybe the distance from my local police repeater, although i used to pick up transmissions fine in the same spot my scanner is all the other times with the stock antenna,I'm also after some other recommendations for car antennas and even other handheld ones, cheers
