SDS100/SDS200: Uniden SDS100

Im from New Brunswick Canada, YORK county, now I have just received my SDS100, There are no frequency numbers for the fire talk section, Can I just add the DEC numbers into the scanner to hear them or the site ID, need some help im a little slow at this lol. thanks

I'm not familiar with the system, but if it's a "Trunked System", You need to enter the frequencies and the Talk Group ID to hear the system.

The number in the "DEC" column is the Talk Group ID.

When I look it up all I get it the talk group is there are no frequency numbers, so can I just add the talk group ID into the scanner

Hi & welcome to the RR forums!. I'm assuming this is your system of interest. Easiest way to program the scanner is by using Uniden Sentinel
There are no frequency numbers for the fire talk section
Not sure what you mean by this but if there are talkgroups that haven't been identified in the database, you can certainly enable ID Search so the scanner can scan through unknown talkgroups

No. You have to look up the system site(s) near you and program them first. The scanner scans sites, not talkgroups.

Do it the easy way, set your zip code and set the service types you want to listen to. The scanner will do the rest.
