Uniden Shipping

Anybody here ever bought direct from Uniden? What was your shipping experience like? Ever get it?

Bought a scanner a couple weeks ago and its been showing "Shipment information sent to FedEx" and that's it. It was estimated to be here Monday. Emailed them Tuesday to ask if it was actually shipped and they replied it had but there would be no tracking info until it arrives here in Canada. Funny never had problems with Fedex tracking both sides of the border in the past.

And while I'm pissed at Uniden I might as well post this.

Does this ad make you mad???? It's bad enough the free some time next year shipping is only in the 48..... then they say excludes SCANNERS!!!!! Outrage.

Hi. I understand you! I bought 2 items direct for Uniden and always got a bad service, late delivery etc.
They are now on my blacklist!

i bought 3 cordless phone handsets to expand my base from uniden directly and got really bad service from them they sent out that my order has been shipped and gave me a tracking number though fed ex so when i check the tracking number to see the eta on my order it said the following friday so wed i checked and saw that it has not been shipped i called them and told them that fed ex tracking stated that the order has not been shipped they told me that it has and it on the way to the canadian hub so i called fed ex and the tracked my address nothing found and it was like this for about a month when i got them after threatening of canceling the order.

"they replied it had but there would be no tracking info until it arrives here in Canada" they told me the same thing.
gfdfortynine when you do get the package look on the label you will notice that it is shipped from canada that where my order came from your might come from the same address as mine

Well, better not ordering direct from Uniden when we are in Canada. It's not the first post I saw about this. I hope you will get it soon gfdfortynine...

Shipping isn't free out of US, will be sent by Fedex and they will ding you for broakerage. I bought a refurb from Uniden and it was poorly packed, suffered shipping damage and the extra Fedex cost didn't justify the purchase. This was 3 or 4 years ago.

Ohhhh stop the presses........ anybody else notice the internet crash while fedex updated my tracking info? The package is in Canada. I noticed a few extra customs agents headin to the border this AM on the way to work .... now I know why.

Supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Maybe I'll do a Forest Gump and wait by the street for the delivery, just in case they get lost. Canada big country, probably snowing.... turn left at the red barn, end of the street.

Maybe you should wait by the street, seeing how some of these delivery people like throwing packages over the fence onto the lawn, and if it is snowing, you won't find it till spring.

and the Uniden ad is heading to the spam box, can't bare to look at it every day.
