Uniden Two Way Radio's...

Ok, I have a set of Uniden Radio's purchased from a local retailer, I have got them awhile back but I never use them because they use the batteries like crazy! I can put new batteries in, In an hour (just listening) and in about 30 minutes TXing they're dead...Rechargable or regular, They're Uniden Model GMR535-2... Anyone have this kind?

Most of the reviews at Amazon also complain about the short battery life. They're basically junk to begin with and you'd shortly be able to buy better radios when the cost of batteries is considered.

ok that's what i was looking for, i don't use them anymore, i just found them today and got to wondering about it, the next ones i get are going to have the charging cradle with them...
