I just bought a BCD396T, and I'm trying to set up the UASD software. There's a form on Uniden's website where you enter your email address, and they're supposed to mail you a license code.
I receive the emails fine, but they don't actually contain a code. The last text in the message is "Your Serial Registration Key is:", and that's it - no serial.
Anyone had this happen to them? What's the solution? I've tried multiple email addresses and email clients, so I don't think the problem is on my end.
Also, what functionality is enabled by the license code? The software seems reasonably functional in Demo mode.
