uniden, ubc 75xlt, defect?

I use the uniden 75xlt only for cyclin races. One week ago, it won't receive any frequency.
Sometimes it poorly receives the frequency of the race for just 2 seconds.
Factory reset didn't change anything.
When the radio was charging it became hot, there is possibly something overheated?
Do you have any idea?

It likely needs to go for repair if the factory reset didn’t correct your issue.
