BCD436HP/BCD536HP: Uniden UBCD436-PT not holding Favouites

I have a Uniden UBCD436-PT. I live in Queensland Australia. I have been using Sentinel. I recently purchased Butel ARC536 Basic. I download from Radio Referance into ARC536 and save the lists. When I then write them to my scanner it appears on the scanner, but once I disconnect from the computer the scanner shows "Nothing to scan" There are no Service Types listed to moniter.When I the reconnect scanner to computer and open ARC536, there is nothing listed in the scanner. It just appears that the scanner will not register what is downloaded. I am not very tech savy. Could someone suggest what I am doing wrong. Thanks.

There are always service types. And “nothing to scan” doesn’t mean the programming isn’t in the scanner necessarily. Look in the RR wiki for nothing to scan topic, or just search the forums for nothing to scan.

Nothing to Scan just means you don't have favorites lists enabled.

You need to make sure they are turned on to be able to be scanned.

At this point, are you reading the scanner back into ARC?

Both Monitor and Download are turned on. When I read back through ARC initially it shows everything in the scanner, but if I disconnect and then reconnect, ARC shows nothing. I then have to reload using Sentinel which has not got the info that I had downloaded from Radio Reference

Try building your favorites in Sentinel and the write them to the radio.
The entire RR database is there (updated weekly).

Don't know if the data contains of listings outside of USA, as he lives in Queensland Australia

Just by chance have you changed the software settings from USA to Aust ?
as shown in pic.
This may help as the favorites are formatted slightly different in the PT models

Yes I did change it to Australia. Thanks for the suggestion.
