Uniden Update Server down?

I tried it again ten minutes ago... it's working now! I was able to update my HP1, anyway.

I confirm, it is working!
All sites that appeared down seem to be back online now so for anyone behind, better grab the updates now in case it goes down again!

The database should all be contained on the Micro SD card in the radio under the BCDx36HP\HPDB folder.

I'm fairly certain that same structure is on the hard drive also. My DB consists of 70 files on the radios SD cards. It appears the same files are duplicated between the 4 and 536HP models also but there is a config file whose contents could be different between the two model.
They are all dated 12/25/2015 also except the file that the radio used for avoids. So I last updated my DB on the 25th but the actual DB was from 12/22/15.
So yes, the DB files are on the SD card and can be seen just like you can see the FW file if you look before you unplug the USB cable.
There is also a folder at BCDx36HP\Favorites that contain your favorites of course.
You should be able to see those files in either folder without unhiding any hidden files.
I think the files on the hard drive are in one of the AppData folders if using Vista or Win7. Not sure about 8 and above or XP but they are there and I don't think they are hidden.

If you open hidden files it's in the root directory... Under "ProgramData" there is a uniden folder... The "ProgramData" folder is hidden...

Yep, that's it and under the Uniden folder is one called Database, that is where the database files are stored on the hard drive. Just make sure you are in the folder for the model you are working with.

I thought it removed the firmware file too when you rebooted the scanner... But low and behold it's buried there...

No...I didn't say it was hidden on the sd card...

My files are always unhidden because of the things that I do too... I was looking for something else and stumbled onto that by accident... It was like...OHHH what do we have here!!!

FYI: Major power outage in the area of our office (nearly 5 hours) caused the connectivity issues. Hope that doesn't happen too often in 2016.
