a good wish list for the BC 346 XT to scan that new radio systems like TDMA system !

A lengthy wish indeed, being that the 346XT is an analog scanner and the TDMA spec is for digital systems.

I asked the same question about Uniden putting out a update for TDMA for a Uniden 396T a long tme back and I was told that was not going to happen.

For now -- it'll eventually start getting quiet unless your get a TDMA capable radio (only the GRE PSR-800 will work for now).

Philly may still be Phase 1 P25 which can be monitored by a Uniden digital xt scanner. If/When they switch over to Phase 2 TDMA no current digital Uniden scanner will have the ability to decode them. The next generation Uniden scanner should, assuming there is one in the works.
