I haven't used my USB-1 cable in about 3 or 4 months. Today I tried connecting to my 396 and got nothing but failure to connect errors from both UASD and ARC396. I even went as far as removing the USB device from Device Manager and re-installing it... still nothing.
The standard serial cable works fine so I know it's not the scanner. I've checked and re-checked all the port settings, etc. Everything appears fine, yet the 396 can't connect.
Anyone have any ideas?
