I'd like to get the answer straight from Uniden on this:

Are we ever going to see a scanner capable of monitoring LTR passport or EDACS ProVoice systems?

We've all discussed the different facts about proprietary material and technical limitations, but I'm sure many in the scanning community would like to know if this is something that Uniden is even considering for future models of scanners. Can we get your best educated guess on this please?

Hope So. LTR Passport more likely than MA/COM. MA/COM will not sell there technology information to scanner manufacturers. I guess that they are just paranoid that they will loose business if they do so. I think that as long as they offer capabilities such as encycrption (As does Motorola who has given away their technoogies) they will be fine. The other option is if you absolutely want to monitor an agency using ProVoice you can purchase a MA/COM radio off E-Bay or some other source. This can be very expensive and there is a chance that the agency could be using encycprtion of ESK on the system making the radio useless.

ProVoice will NEVER be in a scanner.

LTR Passport probably doesn't have enough potential users to make it worthwhile.

The only way you'll see ProVoice in a scanner is if MA/COM licenses it to Uniden/GRE and as stated several times in the past, they aren't going to do that.

If you're hell-bent on listening to ProVoice, right now the only way is to pick up a ProVoice radio. (They aren't THAT expensive)

You can't. Any truthful answer, whether it be yes or no, would reveal information that would be beneficial to a competitor. So it's not going to happen. I think this has been explained a number of times now.
