Question

I want to record comms to iPhone is there an adapter I can get to allow this or can I buy a headphone jack that goes from scanner into iPhone and use voice recorder

There is no audio, digital or analog, available on any of the 125 and 75 scanners. The only audio output is via the scanners headphone socket. Plugging into this will mute the scanner's internal speaker.

Does the iPhone have an audio input connection? You may find that the voice recorder will only record from the phone's internal microphone/speaker or via an external headset.

I was thinking of that if I was to get a jack to plug into headphone onto of the scanner the connect to iPhone voice recording
