Awesome! Thanks for the help!

I found out another one. It was actually on my list and I some how missed it. It looks as though new talkgroups have been added since I obtained that list, and I asked someone I know for some info on the unknown id's listed.

I got 2032 added. That falls in the EOC talkgroups and is simply labled Mutual Aid Patch Channel 1 in the radios.

having a source that is happy to assist scanner hobbyists is very valuable. Ever since getting into radio scanning, I found it interesting in ID'ing the unknown talkgroups. Not that I enjoy having severe weather conditions around, I was having a good time listening to new talkgroups during Hurricane Dennis. I will be sure to spend more time confirming/IDing things in the Starkville, MS area (and area between Ocean Springs and there) when I return to MSU in the fall :)

I guess I take all of the fun out of guessing lol...

I got my info and I edited my original post, so there ya go. all of your talkgroups are identified... BTW, you apparently DID hear Ocean Springs FD on 4016. It appears to be a patch to their VHF channel (154.4000) But 4061 is the official trunked operations channel for whenever they go totally 800mhz.

Wow I was pretty close on the Port Authority stuff ! I guess the talk they had about boats and docks and stuff made it easy though lol ;) Will you be submitting this to milf for the site? I dont want to do it and take the credit away from you.

i did this morning. Went to the db and submitted it. I got a bunch more that aren't listed there. I didn't realize just how not updated it was.

seeing how Pascagoula PD has a digital talkgroup which is patched directly to their dispatch channel (155.7000) it makes me wanna go buy that new BC-396D portable more and more now...

oh yea, i bet! me being in college, i don't currently have the freedom financially to do that :( but once i am done in a few years and get things paid off, i will certainly be looking forward to getting the "new innovation" at that time ;)
btw, i am on dial-up here at my parents' house (Latimer), but once i am back at school, i will be listening to your streaming scanner audio. I would like to say that is great to be able to here what is going on on the coast while being out of the area!

yeah that's what it's here for. Originally I put it up so I could listen to it when I was at home without a scanner, or if I travelled out of the area and wanted to listen to what was going on.

Of course I wanted to put us on the map as well. With such sites like scancapecod.net which is in my opinion awesome! That's where I got the idea to have talkgroup ID's broadcast in winamp along with the traffic.

I'm glad you'll make use of it when you go back up.
