Unidern 1000 Channel Portable

Hello,
I am new here and have a 1000 channel portable Uniden scanner with trunking capabilities. Not sure of the model offhand. I can not figure out how to use the s/w that came with it plus the s/w that I ordered extra. I am a computer teacher so I am not computer dumb!

Any help woudl be appreciated. I am in Rhode Island.

its probably a bc250d or a bc296. how much did you pay for it?

He paid about 500 bucks for it. I believe it is the Digital one from Uniden.
