Uninstall firmware update from pc

Hi Folks,
I just have one question about firmware updates for the BCD396T. I just updated the firmware
Version 3.00.00 to scanner with no problems and now I would like to remove the desktop shortcuts
and the software from PC (BC_VUP & BCD_ESN_Loader_V1_20_13) using control panel uninstall programs.
Is there a problem with doing this? Are any of these programs used for future updates?

You might want to keep BC_VUP installed as it will be used if further firmware updates come out, but you will do no harm by removing any of those programs or files from the PC.

Thanks bwilborn, that's what I thought. I had a hunch BC_VUP might be used for future updates. I'll
go ahead and remove BCD_ESN_Loader_V1_20_13 from PC.

good advice you dont need V1_20 anymore... also you can probably delete V3 (if its there as well on your desktop) since you already have it on your scanner.

worse case you can re-load any of these from Uniden

Thanks once again V3 has also been deleted. This has always been a question I've
wondered about with all downloaded programs. I just want to recover hard drive space and clean
up the desktop icons.
