Union City

This past weekend my wife and I visited my mother in law at Christian City in Union City. Before I lift Augusta I programed all the information into my Uniden 436HP, did not hear the first radio signal. Has anyone monitored Union City Police/Fire if so would you please reply.

I don't know that I have monitored them recently, but you won't necessarily see them show up as "Union City" either. If you look under the Fulton County P25 system you will see that the same dispatcher dispatches several small cities. Union City being one of them.

Were you monitoring the Fulton P25 system? It's easy to get confused with all the old frequencies that insist on being in the database.

Union City PD is dispatched by our 911 center on a shared talk group with Fairburn PD, Palmetto PD and Chattahoochee Hills PD.

Union City Fire is dispatched by our center on Fulton Fire dispatch talk groups as are the other southern cities.

There's a "Union City" trunked system in the database. I haven't heard anything on that one either. I suppose they've all gone to the new Fulton P25 system
