Saw an article this week in the local Union County times that Mifflinburg got a grant to upgrade police dept. equipment including P25 compatible radios. That would end it for me unless a crackhead deal came along.
I have a unication g3 that dose p25 so I'm already set for p25 Im jaut looking for the analog tones for all of union county

That scannernuts site is decades out of date.
Some of the frequencies are but the Dispatch tones are not. I still program them for people every day, as I said I keep it updated as they change.

I also heard that they would keep one of the current fire dispatch frequencies. Do you work for one of the radio maintenance?

Ok thanks. With the current system couldn’t they have a single dispatch frequency and use the frequencies from both counties as tactical channels for tanker fills and etc

Once they go p25 analog will be useless unless they have a patch for it but they can keep the analog dispatch but only for that

They've been having issues with the audio from the console on Snyder Fire 1 for a week or so. I think they got it fixed.

I am hearing rumors of CSR 911 May be looking at P25. Can anyone confirm it
Yes. Still early stages but I would venture to guess they would do Analog paging and digital ops channels. Probably stay conventional repeaters/simplex channels.

All counties have to have a digital dispatch as well the only thing with the analog dispatch will just be a patch for the digital dispatch

That's completely incorrect. If they're using conventional setup (non-trunked) they can do whatever they want for dispatch. Perry, Juniata, Huntingdon, Blair, Fulton, to name a few, are all conventional systems with digital ops channels.

Good to know that some stations in a different county were fed the wrong information when I ran with the one station k use to belong to we were told we have to have all digital and then only a vhf dispatch channel

I would say the confusion is with the use of the word "digital". A lot of people use digital as trunked instead of P25.
