Union County PD heard on 460.450 yesterday evening??

I just wanted to make everyone aware that I confirmed hearing Union County PD on 460.450 yesterday (not sure if it was a simulcast from their 800 system or not). They were responding to an accident on Morris Avenue in Springfield at the time. I did not hear any medical units, just PD. In the past, I only heard this channel in use during special County events.......but not for regular PD use. Does anyone have any info on this?

Could Union's trunk system been down because of the storm and they were using that channel as a backup???

That was one of the Union County OEM EMS liaisons -- the EMS equivalent of a fire mutual aid coordinator -- who happened to come across the MVC and asked CenCom to notify Springfield PD. Unrelated to Union County PD.

sorry, I've been offline for a while, but yes.......it did occur around that time. Thanks for clearing that up. They just sounded a lot like PD.........but it was probably OEM talking to the EMS
