does anybody know about digital police scanners like BC250D, PRO-96, PRO-796, BC785D & other digital scanners that would pick up secret service? they are using APCO-25 or something digital? how about trunk system? if anybody knows, please let me know. thanks!!

US Secret service uses conventional radios and are P25, you can pick up their transmissions with those radios, but 99.9% of their comms are encrypted.

Wireless mics can and do operate in ANY freq range.

Secret Service

When ever there is a presidential visit it would only mean that the local police will suddenly become very active. This is still a good way to follow what is going on when the President comes to town.
