Unitrunker 1.0.33.6 Color Change

How do I change the audience color? Blue is hard to read. Or change the background black to white and what ever is white to black like the older version style?

Actually, what I would like to do is change the "Police" default deep blue color to a lighter blue, to give better contrast against a black background.

I've found the "Color" sub-menu and tried to change the color to an aqua, but the change isn't taking effect.

Any suggestions?

Yea I have the same problem can't change the color green to a different color. I've looked around to see if there is a box or a setting somewhere found nothing.

"You must be using the color words feature.

UniTrunker | Color Words

Your color words are applied at the time of importing data from the RR DB.

It does not update the data you've already accumulated."

I'm using Windows 10, and created my own icon in the task bar to start Unitrunker.

Maybe that's why I'm having a problem, not seeing my changes when I re-start Unitrunker.

Double-click the label in the Audience column. It will open a window that will allow you to modify the color. There may be a method to do this for many groups or users at one time, but I couldn't find it. I ended up just doing it individually for the dozen-ish groups that were dark blue on the black background. Now they are light blue or teal or something, and much easier to read.

I did have UniTrunker crash and shut down once when changing the foreground (text) color for a group, but I could not reproduce the effect.

I've learned that changing the default colors for service groups, such as police, only affects new imports or entries, not existing entries.

Also, If you want to change the color for multiple existing entries, do this:
Highlight the receiver being used, in my case an in-line receiver, BCD396XT;
Click the "Systems" tab at the bottom;
Highlight the system you want to make changes to;
Click the "Inspect (magnifying glass)" icon in the top bar:
Click on the "Groups" tab in the window that opens;
Use the standard Windows' select options to highlight the groups whose colors you want to change:
Click on the "Inspect" icon;
Make your change in the "Color" line, using the drop-down menu if desired:
Click the "Okay" button in the "Color" window;
Voila!

I just change the individual talkgroup colors to one of my liking, rather than trying a global change. As mentioned, changing the 'color words' would only affect new entries.

It's easy enough to bring up the TG list, and just click through the ones I want to change.
