Are you tuned to a control channel that is active and receivable from your location? It must be both to populate data.

I have it going through the 4 control channels of the site, they all get nothing.
Try manually tuning each control channel (assuming the RRDB data is correct.). Open the scope window and look at the waveform in IQ or Symbol mode.

In the Radio Window, VFO1 Tab (or whatever VFO you have assigned to Signal) type in the control channel frequencies in the Manual field and press enter. Do this for each control channel until you find the active channel. Confirm with the scope to check if you are getting an organized waveform.

I assume the active control channel changes constantly?

It does NOT change constantly. For Motorola systems like NJ, it rarely changes.

Then the entire site is down (unlikely) you are out of range (likelier) or you have other issues: bad SDRs, un/mis-configured SDRs, bad antenna cable, etc. Sorry I cannot help further.

I think it may be a issue on my side as I don't have the correct settings, what should I configure inside the Unitrunker VFO thing to make it log?

Just for clarification, you are just looking to log activity and not listen to the system, right? If your trying to listen to the system, it was mentioned in post 36 that Unitrunker will not decode phase 2 voice.

If you just want to log activity on the system, can you post a screenshot of your radio info tab and your signal vfo.

Adjust your Warp setting to get the Window value to +/- 10 and closer to the ideal value of zero, and adjust the Squelch setting until the RSSI box is a steady blue. Just sayin'....

Your second shot shows the exact values I have for my gain, vga, lna etc,,,. I use those as those work best on the site I am monitoring. Unless your site is the same distance from your antenna as mine is, its best to play around until you find a signal. Can you tune to each known control channel and post the scope showing IQ?

If you have a NESDR SMArt you shouldn't need -15 warp, that kind of warp is for the cheapo hackjob sdrs. Try 0 and see what it does. On those LNA,VGA,Mixer,Gain I have mine set to automatic

Wow. That's what happens when I only have one coffee.

Good catch. That's most likely why he can't lock on any of the control channels.
This works, that fixed that problem, but now I am not discovering new groups, only the ones already imported. Suggestions?

If your not seeing anything other than what you imported, then its very possible there are not any new tg's at this time. New tg's only show up when they are created by the system admins.
