With Unitrunker v1, is there a means of audible alert when a specific type of traffic is intercepted. I'm monitoring a very busy EDACS system that has a few digitally encrypted talkgroups. I'm only interested in these, but they are rare and difficult to pick out on the busy calls interface. Besides, it would require me to stare incessently at the display for those rare occurrences. Aan alert would draw my attention to the display.

Thanks MB, but since there is no audio with this (digital encrypted ProVoice)traffic, I am still forced to stare at the display to see them pop up as active. And amidst all the other clutter of the system on the other frequencies, these rare occurences might be hard to grab. No?

And doesn't one set the priority to the group? I don't know the groups using the Provoice to assign a high prioity to. Can I set a priority to DIG traffic and mask all other activity on the display? I would still have to focus on the screen to see them pop up. A beep when DIG traffic is intercepted within the system would at least allow me to focus only on that indication freeing me up to do other things.

You can set the priority for the Target and the Source, but an a beep to alert you, I don't think there is such a beast. You might want to try Googling for Unitrunker plugins.

You can set an audible alert for a group or user by (1) opening the settings for that group/user. (2) scrolling down to the "Annunciation" section. (3) for the event you want to be alerted to (aff, call, patch, emergency), open the dropbox and select "Gong," "Ring," or "Whoop."

Just use DSDPlus and do a text search of the CC events log for encrypted group calls

Thank you all for contributing to a solution! I think stranger46 is closest to what I need to do. I'll give it a go.
