I Can't figure out how to enter a fleet map. I have it running for 6 days now and it shows Type I or IIi 800 ??????2?. In trunker Ver. 3.8.3 I was using LL??DDcI and it worked fine. If I leave it run will it figure it out, or is there a way to enter the fleetmap? And While I'm asking questions, Do you have any plans in a future Version to put in the asterisk to shows the active voice channel.
Thank you

The fleetmap feature does not work. I have an idea for a fleetmap feature that will handle Motorola Type I, EDACS, and MPT1327 fleet maps - but need some time to work out the details. Thanksfully, P25 does not need a fleetmap.

No. The voice channels change color (white vs. gray). I do need to make the set of colors a choice for the user. Eg. red is the active control channel and brown is an alternate control channel.

In Options, insure auto save is on.
When exiting the program, us the keyboard letter *x*. If you click on the X in the upper right corner to exit, nothing during that session will be saved.

Go to UniTrunker folder in rfmobile folder and review the 7 files using a txt editor.

Its saving, I just can't view the data after it has been saved. I have been trying to use the find menue, but it seems like its not retrieving the data.

Can you direct me to the folder, I am having trouble finding it.
Well, obviously no one can see your hard drive, so you will have to find it yourself. Do as fmon says and search for the rfmobile folder.

Do taskbar, Start, Search and search all files and folders for wildcard
*.SYS or *.RID or Uniform.exe. Any of these files will show you the directory where your files are located. I don't have an rfmobile directory because I installed Uniform on drive C:\Scanner\UniForm. This is where all my files are located. If windows tells you it cant open one of the files select other from the window and then notepad, as the extensions used are not recognized by system until you tell it what to use to open the files.

Thanks all for your guidance. I think I have found the file that gives a description on the menus. But when I use the Find System command and type in a system, Unitrunker will not display the information.

All your motorola systems will begin with Moto????.sys. Where the question marks are will be the system id. Edacs systems begin with EDACS9??.sys if its a 9600 Edacs system. If you do a search on *.HZ or any of the other system files all the Unitrunker files will be in the same directory.

If your using Unitrunker to do the find. Use the system displayed on the top line of Unitrunker. Depends on if your using HEX or DEC.

By default, it installs to:

Code:
C:\progra~1\rfmobile\UniTru~1

The Command Line for the UniTrunker Executable (by default) is:

Code:
C:\progra~1\rfmobile\UniTru~1\uniform.exe

Hope that helps.

I believe he was referring to the future when Unitrunk wil tune a 2nd radio. Trunker, if I remember correctly, highlights the active voice channels, and also uses an asterix to indicate to which of the active voice channels the 2nd radio is tuned.

Oh ... *smack* ... yes ... we can do something like that. I'll worry about that when we get past the beta.

Has anyone else ran this program on a network'd system and it show freqs from the other tower sites as voice channels? I run this program for the Palmetto 800 system in SC, I use cell 41 -Kingstree as my base system, the program says it affiliates with 6 other towers, which I know that, but I have 29 voice channels listed in white, 1 red control channel, and 6 green channels (which are the control channels for the other sites) listed. Has anyone else had this happen, and is it suppose to do this? I run trunker and T4Win all at the same time, off one unit and none give me that many channels.

Hi Jamie,

The program has been tested with several large smart zone systems - I have not received a report like this before. No, it is not supposed to do this - you should not see more than 28 channels for any one site.

Some questions for you:

What signal quality is the program reporting at the top of the screen?

If you have time, can you record a sample of the control channel that I can use to reproduce and eventually fix the problem?

Hi rfmobile,

Great program...

I get a 99 to 100% decode rate constantly.

I will record some of the signal tonight.

attached is a screen shot of the system, and you can see what i mean.
