I have been using Unitrunker for a while now with a BC246 and think it's a great program. However there are still a few things that I have not yet figured out. I have the group priorities set up and this works fine- though it would be nice if the program would switch to the next highest priority talkgroup that is already active when a higher priority talkgroup goes inactive, instead of waiting for a "new" group to become active.
What I would like to do is enable a user id to utilize the priority function irregardless of the talkgroup it is on. For example, I would like to be able to set the user priority of a PD helicopter to 1 and have the program always make any talkgroup that this user is on be the monitored talkgroup, even if that talkgroup has a lower priority than another currently active talkgroup. Is this possible, and if not, what is the purpose of user priorities?
Thanks in advance,
Eric
