As of this moment, I do not have any 854.* listed. Here is what I do have:

855.2125 855.7125 856.4375
856.9375 857.4375 857.9375
858.4375 858.9375 859.4375
859.9375 860.9375 868.6125

I don't know if it matters, this is Troop A. I'll keep this running overnight, as it did pick up 868.6125 while running, see if any 854.* come up.

I was hoping you would hear Toms River tower for Troop C. Did you get the base, offset, spacing table, I don't want to make any changes until I know they completely switched over, just writing down info now. I'm going to let it run some tonight.

Listening to Troop C from the Berlin, NJ area (so I don't know what tower they will be coming off of) I get from my scanner (not running any unitrunker) the voice channels 857.2125, 857.7125, 858.2125, 858.7125, 859.2125 and 860.2125. I'm actually a little surprised to only find six of em. And I did make sure I had no talkgroups locked out and scanned the system in Search mode on my 396. I've been doing this for a few days now, and thats all I've come up with.

They still might change some frequencies, who knows, the one that bothers me is 854.5125, looked it up on fcc not licensed to state, that is Berkeley Twp new frequency. We'll see, I have to keep running Unitrunker, when I can.

I have a related problem maybe you guys can help with. I'm not far at all from Toms River but the Troop C signals are very weak and often drop out. The frequencies are 857, 58, 59 and 60 all .7125 so what if anything am I doing wrong?

Wrong as far as what, not hearing it, or just receiving those frequencies? What scanner do you have and right now it looks like most of the traffic is on 6 to 8 frequencies, it looks like the rebanding has started and not complete yet. If you have a Uniden scanner and it doesn't support rebanding, once rebanding is completed, I don't know where you stand, if you'll hear anything or not. If it does support rebanding Uniden will have to come out with a fix of some kind I guess.

So HP why did you ask? I'm wondering why they're so weak at a distance of only a few miles when I'm using an 800MHz 3db gain antenna and only a few feet of coax.

Maybe you just live at a very low point. Also, are you near any cell phone towers? That will zap your signal for sure.

Guys,

Have we reached a time yet where we should be using Wayne's base & offset table for all of the 3 NJSP systems, or just Troop-C?
