After several attempts with my 396xt, I am unable to get the program to do anything. All the settings were checked over sevral times on the scanner and computer. Still no luck. I have a feeling I am just missing a step, but not sure.

I am trying to decode 800 Mhz APCO 25 systems.

reinstalled the program

Are you using the 396XT as voice following receiver or as a signal receiver ?
