Does unitrunker decode digital audio? All I get is the discrminator noise.

Can you be more specific? Can you post screenshots of your VFO tab? My guess is you need to mute the audio of the signal VFO, but without specifics, its hard to tell.

As I suspected, you are getting audio from the Signal role VCO. You need to check the Mute checkbox to eliminate the noise. To receive tg audio, you need to configure a Voice role VCO. Also, you are using the previous version of Unitrunker. I suggest using Version 2.1.

Pretty sure vb or vac cables running into dsdplus are needed on the older version of Unitrunker. Newer version will decode and play phase 1 audio right out of the speakers. Cables needed if using Trunking Recorder.

Not sure, but does UT 2 allow use of discriminator?

Thanks @dave3825 I hadn't noticed he was using discriminator tap, V2 only uses SDRs, but I don't think cables were need if monitoring straight from UT1 (I could be wrong though, been a number of years since I used V1).

@jrl44430 see post #8 for instructions to try, one additional step is on the voice VFO under AUDIO select your speakers.

All I know is the decoding of phase 1 ( in UT 2 ) without needing vb or vac cables came in Version 2, Release 0, Preview 55. Can't even remember the last time I used UT version 1.
