Summary of what's new:

* General

Missing graphics for readme file.
Peers tab - LCN not updated at first opportunity.
Persistent UI geometry - window placement information is stored for some windows. The next time the window is displayed - it will appear in its former location (to be further improved).
The "Running" drop-down box is now display only. Use the Start arrow or Stop box on the toolbar.
Start / stop race condition that could cause crash - fixed. This is a major change affecting all receiver models.
Replace critical sections with lock free mechanisms for better concurrency and speed.
Voice following - clearing the Listen option but voice receiver continued to get voice calls - fixed.
Restore volume and squelch for headless radios like Icom PCR series - fixed.
Removed volume control of Uniden DMA models - avoid fighting with user's manual volume setting - fixed.
Voice following of patched talkgroups - supergroup inherits listening properties of the subordinate groups.

* Detection

For discriminator signal receivers, the program will display the type of signal in the Protocol field. In addition to detecting 2 slot OpenSky and ProVoice, the program also detects DMR and NXDN. To be clear, these formats are *detected*, not decoded. If you find a control channel but can't figure out what it is, this feature may help.

* P25

P25 VHF decoding from discriminator audio - much improved.
P25 VHF decoding from inline receivers - bug fixes.
P25 TDMA bandplan fixes.
Inhibit radio events displayed.
Decoding health formula revised. Some VHF systems only produce 27 to 35 TSBKs per second. Compare to 40 TSBKs for 770/851 Mhz systems.
Faster error correction calculation.

* Motorola

Better bandplan selection for some smart zone systems.
935 Mhz bandplan had incorrect channel spacing value (work-around was to use the 935 Mhz plan in the Band Plan Wizard) - fixed.

* EDACS

Unit IDS erroneously formatted as AFS when Fleet display mode enabled - fixed.
Leading zero missing in AFS fleet digit - fixed.

* RR DB Download

Did you check "Remember Me" to save your RR DB password? The password is now stored in a separate file using the Microsoft crypto API (no more clear text passwords).

Yes. If you are one of the brave souls that downloaded 1.0.25.11 - you've already got it.

OK I saw that they had the same file name and wanted to make sure I didn't download the old version.
Yes, I had been using about the last 3 versions. Big improvement in P25 decoding. The only problems I have is it still won't show the neigbor sites on the Parker County system and for some reason if either Firefox or Google Earth are running it causes Unitrunker to disappear. I guess it is crashing but it doesn't generate any Windows error messages.

That didn't take long. I run FF all the time. Got a crash dump?

I got it up and running with no problems on PSR-800. Currently monitoring a UHF T band trunked system.

Great job!

No. I don't think it makes one. I'm running XP SP3. Usually when something crashes it generates a crash report and you can see it in the event viewer. Is there someplace else I should look for it? That doesn't happen in this case. The windows and task bar icons just disappear and it doesn't save any data.

No problems here. For the first time since I've been running it, UniTrunker is now displaying affiliation denials on Motorola system 7829. Great job on the updates!

Hi Tom;

The last stable version from earlier this year didn't do that.

Thank you for the crash dumps.

Bad news - a display option Fade value of zero is causing the crash.

Good news - set Fade to anything other than zero (like 1) - no crash.

This will be an easy fix. Thanks again for finding and reporting this.
