I'm wondering if there is a way to share Radio IDs between two systems?

I'm monitoring both the TxWARN analog and P25 systems and Radio IDs are the same on both. It'd be great if I could just add a label/color for an ID on either system and have it show up on the other.

If that isn't possible can I take all the RIDs I've been tagging for years on analog and copy them over to the digital system?

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Thanks Rick, I figured that might be the case.

Is there a way I can manually (edit XML) duplicate my analog RIDs over to the P25 system to use as a starting point for that system?

This is dirty, dirty, dirty but might work for you.

Export the Motorola system to an XML file.

Open the XML file in an XML editor like XML notepad.

Delete the talkgroups from the file.

Edit the system type from "Motorola" to "APCO P25".

Edit the network identity from "2318" to "BEE001A7".

Import the XML file into your P25 TxWARN system.

The radio IDs should appear under your P25 system.

If you know XSLT, you can probably write a transform script to do some of the work.

When hand-editing XML in a text editor, it is easy to mangle things.

I gave it a try but no luck. I select the XML file to import and the dialog closes but then nothing happens. No error but the Users count for the P25 system doesn't increase either.
