UniTrunker, Small issue

So I'm using UniTrunker with my Pro 197 scanner. I'm successfully scanning a ProVoice system and seeing talk groups and radio IDs popup as I hear them on my radio. It shows all 5 frequencies in use...blah blah blah. It's working. However, every so often, my scanner automatically switches to the control channel and will not let me change it unless I close out UniTrunker.

Does anyone know why it would do that?

Are you listening on the PRO197 while using it as a signal receiver?

Not quite. The scanner is scanning "Scan List 2" which is a ProVoice system. So I can't hear anything until it automatically switches to the control channel. Then I just hear the control channel noise. I hear the traffic using my Jaguar 700p radio which has ProVoice.

There are 5 frequencies and about 6 or 7 talk groups, all ProVoice on that system. I've programmed them all in to the Scan List.

In other words, yes you are "listening" with the scanner.

Unless you are tracking LTR-Regular, your data scanner should not be scanning. It should be sitting on the control channel.

Try this:

Remove the talkgroups from the scan list. Add a group ID you know is not used. Scan that. You dont want anything that might cause the radio to leave the control channel.

As a side note, check your firmware for updates. If you still have problems, I'll likely ask for a Tuner log file from your signal receiver.
