so, what is UniTrunker about and does it decode P25 encrypted transmissions? and how do you use UniTrunker?

In the US, it is illegal for a non-authorized entity to decrypt an encrypted transmission. Any encryption worth having would not be able to be broken by a program like this.

UniTrunker is not really a programming package, although you can use the information gleaned from it to help program a scanner hearing an unknown trunk system - hopefully the mods will see this thread and move it.

UniTrunker decodes the control channel data and displays it in a readable format. It does not decode encrypted transmissions. To use UniTrunker you have to be able to either feed the control channel data from the receiver to your soundcard or get the data via the USB CC-dump feature avaliable on some receivers.
