Units switching to SIM11

Just heard London Comm on the Middlesex talkgroup doing a status update of all her units before switching everyone to SIM11. She advised the switch will be happening very soon and a strict 10-3 will be in effect. No idea why they are switching over... scheduled maintainance I presume. Might be a bad night to have a tower down and a 10-3 in effect with the crappy weather rolling in.

antenna problems the APC is kicking in causing alarms from what I hear

The system is pretty reliable and usually the only time a tower is taken down is for maintenance.

Generally a switch to Sim 11 means they are taking the Zone Controller down while a switch to the TAC channels means something is being done that affects the consoles.
