I know the previous owners retired, but did someone buy the rights to the company and take over sales?

I about fell out of my chair when I accidentally hit a bookmarked link and it showed the website as last updated on Thursday, 10 June 2021.

I think they definitely retired because there was discussion about where the store cats were now residing. They are keeping the website running because frankly it is a national treasure. And I think they are still filling orders from home on some items. Maybe some used items are still available.

When they announced that they were closing, I believe they said they'd continue operating on a part-time basis until the inventory was sold.

And, yes, there's a lot of good information on their website.
