I see that the University of Arkansas has been awarded a license from the FCC, for their new TRS in Washington County. The assigned frequencies are:

  • 453.100
  • 453.250
  • 453.700
  • 460.375
Has anyone observed any radio traffic on these frequencies yet? This will probably be an LTR TRS, from the information provided by the initial application.

UofA System

I have heard traffic bits on those frequencies but have not yet plugged them in as a trunked system.

(I am frankly too lazy until someone does the work and puts it in the database. More, a hit on the UofA system (which is generally a 10-28 or a "building secure" report in my experience) keeps me from more interesting things in Fayetteville, Springdale, or on the AWIN.

Thunderbolt,

Thanks.

I've had it programmed in both my BCD-396 and my PRO-107 but have had zero hits after nearly 24 hours of listening. Something's not right...
