The University of Michigan has begun rebanding their TRS. Currently, the data channel is on 855.7125 MHz. Earlier, they were on 860.8375 MHz. This process should continue for several more days.

Without much insight, I am not sure they would go to the time and trouble to reband if they are leaving it?

Will they be switching over to MPSCS anytime soon?

Rumor has that the DPS will be moving to the MPSCS, but everything else will remain on the old Motorola Type-II TRS. The long-term plan is to convert the old system over to Project 25 in the future. No firm date has been set in stone as to when that will happen.

Thanks Ron, I did hear DPS do some testing a few weeks back on the Washtenaw Co MPSCS system but I didn't catch the talkgroup I was at work.
