I was experimenting with the NXDN mode this weekend and I decoded two different RAN codes on 453.1000. Does anybody know if one RAN code is for the University of Minnesota Police and one is for M Health Fairview Security?
I have never picked up anything other than M Health Fairview on this.
I have picked up a number of different DMR systems for U of M but not any NXDN. I am really surprised that they haven’t been sold a University Wide Cap+ or Con + system to unify all the different uhf business systems they have.
I parked on this overnight. RAN Code 32 is the most active. I also have other RAN Codes time-stamped. Is anybody else able to monitor this and see if they get any other RAN Codes in use? Perhaps the others are for other departments, like Facilities. Or, I may be getting some sort of false hits, too.
