unknow business freq

i am listening to 154.515 with dcs152. sounds like some sort of transportation or cab company

Funny that your picking that up because i have actually been suspecting that freq and tone to be "Cedarhurst taxi" which is a cab company here in NY ULS License - Industrial/Business Pool, Conventional License - KNBT414 - CEDARHURST TAXI ASSOCIATION

I dont know if you would be able to pick that up as i dont live rather close to Cedarhurst and im not able to receive that very well however taxi companies dont always use the most efficient radio systems

Are you using a indoor or outdoor antenna?

If you want try and take note of what streets/areas they seem to be dispatching to that would help pinpoint where this is coming from

You can search the FCC database for a licensee on that frequency quire easily. The db here on RR is pretty useful and it's updated once a week so it's highly accurate.

I get PL 94.8 as well on 154.515 which also sounds like taxi comms...
