Unknown activity on 7207 Site 7 Mount Ogden

There is currently some activity that sounds like an unknown agency is preparing for a raid or warrant service. The Source is 57593 and the Target is 2624. The tag columns are blank. They are using first names when talking to each other.

Definitely sounds like undercover ops. They said something about sending a license plate over "Signal" whatever that is.

What is the difference between the Source and Target? This has come up a couple of times with different Source numbers? Using Unitracker 2.1 if that makes any difference. I'm still trying to figure out all these trunking formats.

Source is the radio ID, target is talkgroup ID

Target also could be another radio ID, especially in a private call

Oh.. I fibbed. I can hear TG 2624 coming in on 7202 Site 003 (Salt Lake County Simulcast)

TG 2624 is one of the old "Agency" channels, used during/after the Olympics. it was a sort-of Multi-Agency talk Group. Or at least that is what I was lead to believe, by the "older folks" ( ). Oh,,,,,, I mean by those that were here at that time.

Signal is likely the android / iPhone messaging app.

Around my area some of the covert units will also use zello when they are having coverage issues of the P25 system.
