Unknown freq.

HI ,

IF I search a frequency in RR or fcc database and it does not shows results it means that the frequency is not registered or is private? how can i search for it ?
for example Im hearing conversations in 161.900 DMR and 165.7125 but no results in the DB. Any idea? IM in Puerto Rico.

US Government Entities operate under a separate frequency management agency and are not found in the FCC db.

You can search Radio Reference to see if it's listed in the RR DB.

Yes In that frequency range I can hear federal agencies usually, but know maybe do to good conditions im hearing stations like taxis and other stuff from Dominican Republic that is near from here to make contacts in HF but in analog or digital modes in vhf this is the second time that i can hear so far.
