I have been recieving a very busy site i can not ID.
Iam using a PRO-163 Trunking scanner able to
decode LTR LCN# and TG, Also the LTR analyzer
attatched to discriminator confirm's info seen on
PRO-163 screen, also using 10db gain omni directional
w LMR-400, 18db recieve amp which enables me to pick
up UHF signal's 200 to 250 miles away from my set-up
in NV just east of Lake Tahoe on CA/NV line at 6000'+
elevation. The site in question is Frequency (451.1875mhz)
(AREA-0 LCN-01) can not find a match that makes sense
in either state Talkgroups are (0-01-112)(0-01-113)(0-01-114)
0-01-114 sounds like a cab company that almost never stops
xmitting. LCN's showing are CH-01,CH-07,CH-13,CH-17 and CH-20 FREE.
Some Data Could be false due SCADA DATA on same freq in
the distance. White noise makes it hard to understand some
of the comms. Iam also picking up idle bursts on 452.0250mhz,
451.3250mhz,463.6125mhz "Fast idle bursts" that wont decode,
far out in distance, but that's a different item not related to this thread.
Buy the way 451.1875mhz has no idle burst's. Does anybody know
where this is coming from? I suspect the San Fransisco Bay Area,(Mt Diablo?)
I do at time's pick-up Mt Vaca repeaters (200 miles away) & Martinez,CA
Police Dept on UHF (250 miles away!) VHF is no sweat from Bay Area.
I do believe i just heard a cab on O'ffarell St? (S.F.) and just now Mission St?,
(Sunnydale? isn't that the housing project's in the southern?)
Again though white noise & mucho interference!
"Anybody know this system or Call-ltr's?"
Using Unit I.D.#'s like "#23 to base" "#24 to base"
