I would also point out that I obviously did not just look at the SysID, which would be foolish given that there are 81 identified systems in the RRDB using that SysID of 00A. However, using the
combination of WACN and SysID, which is the correct way to research something like this, that huge list is whittled down to just three systems:
- A system in Canada, so we can scratch that off the list.
- A system for the Aerospace Data Facility East in Virginia, operating in the VHF band and which already has RFSS 1, Site 1 identified with a control channel of 172.350. That conflicts with the OP's observed adjacent site list of RFSS 1, Site 1 with a control channel of 408.625. Scratch that one off the list, also.
- The Los Alamos National Laboratory system, having a site identified as RFSS 11, Site 11. A DOE installation operating in the federal UHF band, same as the other sites the OP has observed.
My opinion is that it's worth checking out the other DOE national laboratory locations to see if any trunked sites are discovered with a matching WACN-SysID and whose frequency usage and site numbering fit the same pattern.
