Unknown Talkgroup

I caught a new talkgroup while listening last night....19801

Was coming in on the Wynne tower for Troop D.

It sounded like it was some sort of search & rescue activity - went on for a good while - altho I did not recognize any units or locations.

I monitored this talk group a few days ago here in Batesville. They were talking about how "Cross County was checking into that" and they mentioned going to Cotton Plant, which is in Woodruff County. So, perhaps it is Woodruff County SO/EMS? I'll keep monitoring it to see if I can pin it down.

I have heard activity on it here & there but I never can pin down any units or who they belong to. I haven't heard it in a while tho.

19801 identified!!!

OK, just now I heard a call on 19801: "601, Woodruff County?" with a reply from the dispatcher. So, I'm going to call it. 19801 is Woodruff County Sheriff's Department.
