On Channel 3, 462.6125 using DMR, talking about "Lift at 11PM weather permitting" using CC1, S1, however from my location I struggle to pull in the user in and get a full understand what the full transmission is. I couldn't find anything on the license search unless I overlooked it.

You won't find anything in license search. DMR on that frequency would be illegal in the US. I Checked Canada TAFL just in case and only nearby frequency assignments are 462.600, Ford Motor Co in Oakville. Probably unlicensed operation in the US with those crap Chinese radios that are DMR capable.

Wish I could provide further information but as I said, they talk about a lift, a time, and say weather permitting, so I doubt it would have anything to do with Ford, and I find it unlikely I could pick up something from Oakville at my residence, and I would venture out to see if I can pickup more information and a clearer signal, however I wouldn't know where to start.

If you are sure it is 462.6125 then it is just junk unlicensed users in your area. Sound like a typical construction operation that often use "color dot" radios and seldom bother to get a license and now, since they don't care about use of a legitimate frequency, can get "Cheap Chinese Radios" for even less money and DMR capable.

I don't see any point in attempting to ID it. If it is construction it is generally itinerant and they will move on to another project soon and, with this type of radio, they can easily switch frequencies any time.

Makes sense and it tends to be consistent in what I am hearing on the radio, however I have two unanswered questions, why would they be using the radio, and who would they be talking to?

Falls incline is on the Talk Wireless system tg=119
As far as the 462.6125 frequency, there are several different people who us this it's part of the FAMILY RADIO SERVICE (FRS) CH=3.
Right now, there is someone talking about a lady who just got sick to her stomach, and needs to have a shower, and she cannot be un-supervised.

I have found schools and nursing homes using FRS in my area also.
There was a time when I started to log the businesses, and others who were using these frequencies in my area but being on the border of Canada and the U.S. there were just too many coming and going using these radio's. Real waste of time unless there is someone in your area that is using these frequencies that you really want to listen to.

These frequencies are everything from kid's walkie-talkies to all sorts of business users. They can easily switch channels and PLs so any attempt to keep track of use is usually futile. And, unauthorized use by high powered analog radios is not unusual. Now it appears DMR is added to the mix since it is available on CCRs. Then there is the GMRS use which supposedly licensed and can use any channel except 462.650 and 462.700 is prohibited in the Line A area to protect licensed Canadian operations.
