Unknowns Along The Blue Ridge Parkway

Earlier today (4-17-2012) while driving the Blue Ridge Parkway, from Cherokee headed North, mostly North of Ashville received the following channels, all appeared to be linked, all were ENC, all had a $130 NAC;

Any ideas?

I see these two in the database for the Great Smokie Mountains National Park

What scanner where these logged on? And was this logged automatically or did you write down whatever the scanner stopped on?

Logged on a 396XT, hooked to a Austin Spectra antenna, mounted on the roof of my little truck. Written down on a notepad.

I had issues with my XT replicating the previous NAC it came across (during search & store and just plain search too). Also they could be images. NAC 130 is in use for Doughton Mtn, & Rich Mtn. which is around the area you were in. I don't know of any other groups, besides ICE maybe, that use an NAC in the 100s, but each site is different. Not seeing many things match up with my records though.

Here's another unknown, heard today 4-18-2012 from Boone, NC to the end of the Parkway, near Waynesboro, VA
162.0000 $190 Mix of clear and a bit of ENC, Law enforcement type activity.
Also heard today,
168.3750 $167 all ENC, heard west of Lynchburg.
Haven't heard a peep on any of the R.R. listed freqs for the Blue Ridge Parkway.
